Job Summary:
As the Store Manager at Smartech, you will play a critical role in supporting the Store Director in leading our flagship New York City location. You will help drive excellence in customer experience, sales performance, and operational execution while ensuring a seamless and engaging retail environment.
You will oversee daily operations, mentor a high-performing team, and implement strategies to optimize store performance. Your role will be key in maintaining the Smartech brand experience while ensuring that commercial objectives are met.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Development:
- Support the Store Director in leading, mentoring, and motivating the team to achieve excellence in performance and collaboration.
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training to develop a knowledgeable and customer-focused team.
- Foster a positive, results-driven culture with clear goals and continuous coaching.
Sales & Commercial Execution:
- Implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and exceed targets.
- Analyze sales data and optimize performance.
- Identify business opportunities, adapting strategies to market trends and customer needs.
Customer Experience & Engagement:
- Ensure an interactive, immersive, and customer-first shopping experience.
- Build long-term customer relationships, driving loyalty and repeat business.
- Champion a service-driven mindset, ensuring exceptional interactions at every touchpoint.
Operational Excellence:
- Oversee daily store operations, including inventory management, compliance, and brand standards.
- Assist with scheduling and team positioning to maximize efficiency during peak periods.
- Maintain an organized and well-executed retail environment that reflects Smartech’s innovation and quality.
Performance & Business Management:
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with the Store Director and senior leadership to align store initiatives with company goals.
- Continuously refine processes to enhance efficiency, profitability, and customer engagement.
Requirements & Preferences:
- 5+ years in retail management, preferably in luxury, innovation, or tech-driven environments.
- Proven success in supporting high-performing teams and driving sales.
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Ability to implement business objectives into actionable plans.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving retail landscape.
- Interest in technology and innovation is a plus.

- Salary: $65K–$85K + Commission
- Job Hours: Full-Time
